I was born in Yorkshire, february 1981. 18 months old when I threw my first darts, played until I was 12 then stopped! Didn't pick up a dart again until I was 21.

Progressed through the Doncaster monday night and district darts leagues initially then in 2008 played super league for the Lord Conyers. My first season caught the county selectors eye and I now play regularly for Yorkshire.

My BDO career started in november 2008, reached last 32 in Ireland where I was beaten by Darryl Fitton. I had registered 10 ranking points and played well enough to realise that I could hold my own and maybe cause a few upsets in the future. The Dutch Open was next in February 2009, a massive tournament, and to reach the last 32 again was a real achievement. My darts have gone from strength to strength and was over joyed to win my first ranked tour singles tournament, The German Open, in April 2010

Obviously qualifying for The Lakeside World Championships is top of my hit list, I am gaining experience at all levels from League Darts to County, experience that will help should I ever step onto the Oche in Frimley.

On July 10th 2010, I fulfilled a dream, a dream to play on the stage at Lakeside. The dream was realised when reaching the semi-finals of the BDO Gold Cup representing Yorkshire. Although I lost to the eventual winner of the singles, Andy Beardmore, its a day I will never forget. This appearance was, I hope, a "warm up" for the ultimate goal of any darter, to play the stage in the World Championships at Lakeside. Im in a decent position on the rankings to make it to the next Lakeside World Championships.........
I want it and im going to have it!!!!
